theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: MICAH <3 OUTFIT: CLICK! ONE LAST THING: LOVE. THESE. TWO. Jasey brushed her blonde hair out of her eyes as she took a seat in the relatively deserted restaurant. It was surprising, since the Sushi place was always packed when she came, but hey, apparently they picked the right time to come. It wouldn't take forever for their food to get there. Jasey was starving, She'd had an egg for breakfast, and got too caught up in her errands of the day to eat lunch. The girl wasn't shy about eating. She had a high metabolism, which was great in the sense that it gave her incredible energy, it also left her in a place where she felt like she was dying if she missed a meal. Her stomach was definitely ready for some food, so she was rather glad Micah had suggested dinner over coffee. Honestly Jasey was surprised with herself. his was.... this was different. Different was the perfect word to describe what she was currently going through. Jasey had given up dating quite a while ago. Well before she entered her twenties. She had done so well to avoid the word date when Micah had suggested it to. She had thought herself very clever to divert it into saying he could buy her a coffee and they could 'hang out'. If she was being honest, she just wanted a few things. She wanted a free coffee, she wanted to sleep with the guy, not call him again, and hell, maybe get a few free coffees in the future. Starbucks wasn't cheap, you know, and this girl had it nearly every morning at about the same time. Micah was the guy there to give it to her a good part of the time too. Call it fate, call it irony, call it whatever you want, but it was true. Yet, here she was.... having dinner with the guy. If that didn't scream date, she wasn't sure what would. She glanced up from where she had been looking at her menu. "I have to say... I'm a little impressed.... I didn't peg you as the sushi type of guy... I like it." Most guys were way too 'manly' to do sushi. It was stupid really. Food was Food. Yet for whatever reason a lot of men refused to eat it. It was a shame, this girl loved sushi. Who was she kidding, she just loved food. Biting the inside of her lip slightly, she studied the boy. She couldn't quite figure him out, and that bugged her a little. Honestly though, the boy intrigued and amused her. He was cocky, she had to admit she liked that though. He could keep up with her, that much was obvious. Boy was gorgeous as hell too. She knew his father apparently had money. That was apparent by the Porsche that he had picked her up in. Here she was driving around in an old clunker that she hated to be seen in. Unsurprisingly, bands didn't make shit tons of money like everyone thought. She knew that Micah worked to have spending money.. but hell, at least he worked. It also intrigued her that he hadn't mentioned her band Enamour. Did he honestly not know who she was? Did he really just believe her to be some gorgeous girl with a ridiculously unhealthy addiction to Starbucks? Taking a sip of her water, she blinked and said "So tell me about yourself. What's your story, kid? Into music, much?" For a moment she pondered if that was too obvious... then she realized she had zero fucks to give.! tell me that we both matter dont we

This girl was drop dead gorgeous. How he accomplished acquiring a 'hang out' date with her, he didn't know. Honestly, 'how' didn't matter, he did and man, he was not going to blow this. He liked her, she had a pretty face, a rocking body, and a laugh that was absolutely contagious. Not that he knew her laugh, because he's only served her around a thousand mocha frappes and drooled over her when she was talking to her guy friend over biscottis. Man, he needed a new hobby. Maybe she would become his new hobby. Even if they did wind up as just friends, maybe he could make them 'friends with benefits'. Now that would be amazing, of epic proportions even!
He chuckled at her words. "I love sushi. It's my favorite food." 'When I do eat.', he thought to himself. Micah mentally shook himself out of those thoughts. He didn't want to ruin his good time with this knock out girl. "I hope you brought an appetite with you, this place has the best sushi in L.A. I bought it out for tonight so we could get our food faster." On cue, a waitress bustled over and gawked at him. He sideways glanced at her, she was really busty, had a cute face and really big eyes, but she was just nothing compared to the beautiful creature sitting across from him. "I just want water, thanks." He watched Jasey order enought food for two. He raised an eyebrow and an amused smirk played on his lips. She didn't look like she could eat all of that by herself, but hey, he wanted her to be happy.
He found himself chuckling again. Damnit. He needed to stop that. He probably looked like a bloody idiot. "Music? I love music. I grew up with it. My dad was in Call Me Ishamael. The bassist. I grew up on tour with him, and when I started school I stayed with my pops. Pops is my dad's husband. They're gay. Obviously. But honestly, they're relationship is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. They're like . . . soul mates or something. It's weird. And. Well I was sent to a private school, graduated, got a full ride to college on a soccer scholarship at ULA. I slum it a lot. Jared, the owner of Eidolon Records offered me a talent scout position but I told him no. A bunch of people have offered me spots in their bands. I'm still thinking about joining. . .I have . . .what's it called . . . a perfect ear? Well, that's when you can hear pitches perfect or whatever. Anyway. Enough about me. Tell me about yourself."
Sitting back in his seat with a smirk on his face, he wondered what she thought about him not bringing up Enamour. Of course he knew Enamour. He had plainly stated he knows Jared. Either way, he didn't bring up her band, or the fact that he knows she's the leader singer. He honestly didn't give a fuck. If she wanted him to acknowledge the fact that she's in a signed band, then she would tell him, and that would be that.

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: MICAH <3 OUTFIT: CLICK! ONE LAST THING:Ahhh, they're so great <3 Jasey was officially in love with this boy's smile. Hands down, it was the sexiest smile the girl had seen. Of course she had thought that ages ago. RJ and herself often frequented the Starbucks together, because if she could help it she didn't go alone, and they would sit in a back corner, in perfect view of the counter so they could gossip about the cute guys working behind the counter. Micah was the top of their discussion 90% of the time, and they weren't ashamed to admit it. They guy was sexy. He oozed sex appeal. Jasey had jokingly told RJ once that she would sleep with the guy from Starbucks one day. Who knew one day would be a hell of a lot sooner than she had thought.
Sushi was his favorite food? "Well then, you and I just might get along a lot better than I had originally guessed." she said shooting him a light wink. It was already apparent that the two got along well from their slight exchange of banter online and in the car ride over here. Maybe she should have talked to him a long time ago? She lifted a brow slightly. Were his words sincere? She glanced around. In fact, yes, the were the only customers in the place. A slight smirk played on her lips. "Are you trying to impress me, Micah?" It was definitely working though. Almost as if on cue, a waitress came up to take their order. Jasey stared at him and shook her head when he just ordered a water. That was definitely not going to work. "I'll also have a water. We'll take a spicy tuna roll, a salmon roll, shrimp cucumber roll, California roll annnnnd.... what the hell give us a terry roll too." She said, giving a fake smile to the waitress and wondering if she had even really listening, considering the fact she was practically drooling over the boy in front of her. Jasey could hardly blame the girl though. "Did you get that?" she asked, snapping the waitress back to what she was suppose to be doing. Quickly nodding her head, the waitress took off towards the kitchens.
Jasey listened as Micah talked, smiling when he talked about his dads. "I think the bit about your dads is sweet. Soul mates is an interesting conception." Jasey wasn't quite sure she believed in it, but hell, who was she to say it wasn't possible? "My life is hardly all that interesting" she said with a laugh. "I was born and raised here in Los Angeles. My parent's are still here too, but we aren't really that close. I've not lived at home since I was seventeen. Had a chance to go to New York to study music for college, turned it down to focus on my music. Something they never understood. Worked my ass off with a few of my friends to get our band where it is today. We're not huge, but I'm proud of what we've accomplished." she said with a slight shrug. Enamour was bigger than she made it sound, but she knew now that he did in fact know who she was. "It's pretty awesome about your dad being in Call Me Ishamael. I listened to them growing up. Shame you didn't take that talent scout position on Eidolon Records. We might have spoken sooner." she gave a bit of a mischievous smile, because mainly her words meant maybe we would have fucked sooner. After all, that's really what this was all about wasn't it? Maybe she was starting to question all of that. Maybe this being a date WASNT such a bad idea.
