A dream. That's what it felt like to Justin as he sat in the booth of the little coffee shop in Chinatown, sipping his Strawberry Bubble Tea and nomming on his blueberry bread while doodling in his notebook. It all seemed like a dream to finally be known for his work and be doing the thing he loves the most for a living : singing and writing to help people who are going through a hard time in life. When he had been himself dealing with mild depression because of bulling in middle and high school, music had been the one thing to keep him alive. That and his friends of course. So now, being himself able to help others the way some had for him, it just made him feel so awesome inside. He even sometimes had a hard time believing it was the life he was now living. And not a second does he think about stopping it all. It may have only been months since they had been signed, but These Vices’ fan base had grown exponentially and Justin loved every single one of them. Every letter they get in the mail, every tweet or message on Facebook that he got to read in which some people said that their music helped them or that they simply loved their sound : it all made the bad side worthy in the end.
……… Remember when they said that what we want could never be done? When it all goes falling down We’ll do what we want to, we’ll do what we want to Remember when they said that what we want could never be done? Well look who’s laughing now! We’ll do what we want to, we’ll do what we want to ……
Justin put his pen down and then heard girls giggling in the booth behind him. He did as if he heard nothing and picked up his Bubble Tea, slurping a bit, but just enough so he could over hear what they were whispering. God he is so nosy.
Oh God, do you think it’s him Kyellie?
I don’t know, I think so. He looks a lot like him, though we only saw the back of his head so it’s hard to say May…
Oh God, what if it’s him? Do I… Do I go ask?
Yeah go!
No I can’t. I’m too shy…
Justin smiled and even chuckled lightly at the girls’ comments. If they were talking about him, they should never be scared or shy to talk to him. He loved when fans came to talk to him. Since he heard the girl say she was shy, he decided he would help a bit : he reached and took off his sunglasses, setting them on the table over his book, and turned his head to the side, looking around the shop an innocently as he could manage. He heard one of the girls gasp and he turned back to face the back of the shop, scratching the back of his head, cocking it to the right a bit.
Holy…. shit…. it’s…. it’s Justin Fabbel, Kyellie, look!!!!!
Oh! My! Lovely! God!!
Ok, you know what? I’m going! I’ll go talk to him. He said in an interview that he loves talking to fans, so why not, right?!
Oh, you’re right, I remember! Ok, I’ll come too!
A second later, he could hear the sound of the girls getting up, giggling lightly and then steps toward him. He grabbed his Bubble Tea again and sipped on it like nothing happened. Not even five seconds later, the girls cleared their throats, obviously too shy to say anything first. Justin looked their way with the most beautiful and kind smile in the world. The girls must not have been older than 18 years old : one little brunette, wearing a Panthera sleeveless shirt and white skinny jeans, and the other red haired, wearing a shirt of Mario and Princess Peach kissing with blue skinny jeans. He set his drink down and turned to face them.
-Hi there!
Euhm… Hi! they both said at the same time. Then the brunette, whom he recognised to be Kyellie’s voice spoke.
So, we were just wondering… eum… are… is… are you Justin Fabbel?
-Mhmmm! That’d be me, yes! he said, nodding as he spoke.
See?! I told you it was him!
The red haired said, nudging the other lightly, giving her big eyes. Justin laughed a bit, kindly, at them, crinkling his eyes in the adorable face that melted many girls without him noticing. He found those kinds of reactions absolutely adorable and nice. Not that he minded the fan-girl reactions; everyone has their own way of reacting to their idols. Some just can’t handle their excitement. They looked back at him and blushed when they saw him laugh and looked down at their shoes. Justin cocked his head to the right again a bit to try to catch their eyes and smiled, almost grinning.
Girls! You don’t have to be shy, you know? I’m just like you, just more people know me. So it’s no reason to be shy in front of me, okay?
He spoke to them with the kindest voice ever. They both looked up and smiled at him, nodding once, obviously more at ease now. They asked for autographs, pictures, stayed to chat a couple of minutes and then claimed they had to leave to go back home. He hugged them goodbye and watched them leave with a huge smile on his face. That had just literally made his day. He looked at his watch and saw that it was getting sort of late. Not that he had anywhere to go, but he decided he should probably be going. He started gathering his stuff and shoving his pens and book in his backpack. He swung it over his shoulder, grabbed his Bubble Tea and bread and made his way outside. But being the klutz that he is and not really looking where he was going, he found himself bumping into someone, spilling a bit of his drink on them.
-Oh God. I’m so, so sorry. What a klutz I am! Are you okay?
Blushing beet red and his eyes widening, he put his drink on the nearest table and grabbed napkins, wanting to help the person. He hated being such a head in the clouds. It always happened to him, and only him he found.

Senseless Denial, We spun like birds on fire right down towards the residence and i I took all that I desired even crooks have to pay the rent We swam like rats on fire right, right down the reservoir We took all that we could carry but we tried to carry more Click.... clickclick....click.... click Maryan's camera was constantly at work, but never as much as it was when she took a stroll through Chinatown. There was a certain beauty about this place that always gave her inspiration. It wasn't unusualy to see the girl completely lost in a world behind her camera lense. In fact, her family often joked that she had come out of the womb with a camera fixiated to her eye. It was her passion though. From a young age the girl had had a camera on hand everywhere she went. In high school she was the top photographer for the newspaper and year book. She majored in Photography in college, and had been hired onto a magazine as a photographer pretty quick. Things had just fell into place for the girl.
Heading into a small chinese coffee shop, Maryan was barely in the door before she was snapping picture of the place. This was one place that Maryan hadn't actually been to before, which was surprising considering how often the girl frequented Chinatown. She snapped pictures of the gorgeous decor that the shop had to show off. It was truly as beautiful on the inside as it was the out side. Completely wrapped up in snapping pictures, she was oblivious to the fact that she was still standing the the door way and someone was walking her way, also not paying attention. It really took her a second to even register that the boy had even bumped into her! She shook her head as he apologized to her. "It's my fault! Really! Here I am standing in the doorway, blocking your way out and not even paying a lick of attention!!" she sighed slightly.
"I just get so lost in my camera sometimes." she laughed slightly, sitting her camera down on the table where his drink was and taking some of the napkins and dabbing at her shirt. She'd definitely would need to get home soon and get her shirt soaking in something to keep the bubble tea from staining the white parts of her shirt where it spilled. "I'm really fine! Promise! Are you okay?" she asked, looking up and getting a good look for the boy for the first time. Hey... she knew him! She smiled a little wider. "Hey, you're Justin Fabbel, aren't you?" she asked as she tossed the stained napkins into the trash can right next to them. "I shot your bands photo shoot a week or so ago!"
She didn't expect the boy to remember her at all. Why would he? Sure he seemed incredibly friendly and sweet at the photoshoot, and they had actually talked a few times, but that was a week ago. Boys in bands were incredibly busy and met SO many different people, she really didn't expect him to remember at all. Sticking out her hand, she smiled brightly "I'm Maryan Murray... though you can just call me Maryan... or Mary... or An... or whatever you want!" she laughed slightly, a little embarrassed by her rambling. It's not that she was star struck, she rarely got that way, but for some reason, here she was acting a fool. She smiled slightly, and pointed towards his drink. "Let me buy you another? I was headed up to get a drink anyway, and since I caused you to spill some of yours, let me replace it?" Maryan would feel guilty if she didn't replace what he had spilled on her. That was just the kind of person she was.

Ashamed as ever, Justin didn't even dare to look up, but he saw in his peripheral vision that the person whom he had bumped into the moment before, a girl to make it even worse, had set a camera next to his Bubble Tea on the table. His eyes set on the camera for an instant and he noticed it was a really nice looking one, expensive looking as well. He thanked God that his drink hadn't spilled on the camera as well or he would have simply crawled underneath the tiles he was standing on and never come back up.
"It's my fault! Really! Here I am standing in the doorway, blocking your way out and not even paying a lick of attention!! I just get so lost in my camera sometimes." she said, sighing slightly. She took napkins as well and started dabbing at her shirt as he threw his in the trash can. He knew she was partly right, but he still should've looked at the door like any normal human being would. She then asked if he was okay, and he nodded and smiled up at her.
Yes, I'm fine, don't worry about me. His eyes then set on her and widened very lightly as she spoke again and it was like they were on the same wavelength. "Hey, you're Justin Fabbel, aren't you? I shot your band's photo shoot a week or so ago!" The thing was, Justin remembered her like you see through clear water, though only her name escaped him. It may have been a week since he saw her and had only once, but he did. And he was surprised she remembered him. But then again, the status he had made it quite hard for people to forget him it seemed. But a grin set on his lips at her memory and nodded once more.
Yeah, I do remember you! You were that super nice photographer, right? he said, buttering it up in compliments to lighten up the mood a bit. He offered his hand to her as she introduced herself to him and laughed along with her. Call me as you wish as well; Justin, Just, Ju...though I don't particularly like the last one. and his eyes crinkled adorably as he widened his smile. She then offered to replace his drink, something he didn't really feel like letting her do, but he had a feeling, just by looking at her, that she might get somewhat offended.
I don't normally let people do that for me because then I feel bad, but I guess I can let you this time. After you! he said, moving aside to let her pass and he himself walked to the counter. He ordered a pack of Dragon Beard and waited for her to finish passing her order to the very nice little Chinese lady behind the counter.
So, you want to stay here and take a booth or you wanna go for a little walk? he offered her. He really didn't mind any of the two at all. It's a nice day out, sunny and all, and it's quiet and cozy in here. So it's up to you. he added, stuffing then a Dragon Beard in his mouth and chewing on it, which made him look like a squirrel with his mouth full and white powder on his lips.

Senseless Denial, We spun like birds on fire right down towards the residence and i I took all that I desired even crooks have to pay the rent We swam like rats on fire right, right down the reservoir We took all that we could carry but we tried to carry more Click.... clickclick....click.... click Maryan really did need to be more careful. Sometimes she was just so careless and oblivious to the world around her. It wouldn't be so bad if she lived in a small town, but Los Angeles was a very big city, and being oblivious to your surroundings could prove to be more dangerous than not. Maryan was honestly just grateful that the tea hadn't spilled on her camera. She wasn't sure what she would do if her camera ever got ruined. It was like her baby. You would struggle to find a time that Maryan didn't have her camera on her. She had worked her ass off to buy her camera, and she rarely trusted anyone else with it. In fact, the fact she even sat it down to clean her shirt would be shocking to a few people.
She continued to apologize as she dabbed at her shirt, all in vain of course though. It was definitely stained. The shirt would have to be soaked in a stain fighter for a while, and hopefully it could be saved. "I truly am sorry, I feel terrible about this!" And she did. In fact, she would probably be a little bothered by it for the rest of the day. That's just the way this girl was. She couldn't help but notice how gorgeous of a smile this boy had though. She was confident that his smile could melt the iciest heart out there.
Well good... and again, I'm sorry." she smiled again. It was hard telling just how many times this girl was going to apologize to Justin, but this probably wasn't the last time. It was actually funny that she had ran into him. The girl had finished the last few edits of the bands photos to send off to be published in the magazine she worked for. It's not like it needed much work though. These boys were incredibly photogenic. It was much amusing to the girl though that she would run into him today of all days, after she had been staring at his pictures all morning.... in a work-related way of course. She had listened to his band for the first time the night prior when she was working on the photos, and she had to admit, they were good.
Laughing slightly, she shook her head. "I suppose that was me! You all were fun to shoot... well... I guess I should say photograph... saying 'shoot' makes it sound like I shot you or something." Really? There went the word vomit again. She shook her head lightly and shook his hand as he told her she could call him as she wished. "Justin it is then!" The girl couldn't help but smile as his eyes crinkled and his smile widened. He was definitely an adorable one.
"Good... because I would have felt even worse if you didn't let me!" she said smiling slightly. Grabbing her camera from the table, she led the way up to the counter and gestured for him to order. After he ordered his Dragon Beard, which made her raise a brow because she honestly had no clue what that was, she only ever got drinks from these places, she ordered a Mango Bubble Tea. It didn't take long at all and their order was up.
Thinking about the choices offered for a moment, she decided "I'd like to go for a little walk. It's too beautiful at side to sit in here." she was actually a little surprised that he was planning on staying with her. She figured that she would buy his... whatever it was, he would give a thanks and they'd part ways. Truth be told though, she was rather glad he had asked that. Company was definitely better than solitude.
As they walked outside She glanced over at him "So what exactly is that thing you have there. It looks.... odd. I mean, not in a bad way. Just different." now she felt a little bad for calling his food odd, but she was curious about it. It was unlike anything she had ever seen before. "You uh, have a little." without really thinking about it, she reached over and ran her thumb across his lips to get the powder off. It took her a minute to even realize what she did, and she immediately brought her hand to her face in embarrassment. I am... that must have been... so awkward... I am sorry. I can't even... wow." well there she went making a complete and utter fool of herself again.
