Jasey moved about the kitchen, fluttering here and there, occasionally pausing to clutch her lower abdomen and grimacing. After spending more than a week in the hospital, and nearly dying in the processes, Jasey had only been home a few days. Upon discharge, the doctors had warned her to take things really easy. From all of the blood loss, she was still weak. Weak and sore. That was nothing compared to how upset she was over the whole ordeal. Her precious Charlie would have to remain in NICU until they deemed him better, which they said could very well take the better part of a month. It wasn't care, in Jasey's opinion, that this had happened to her and Micah. Maybe it was some kind of godly punishment for the fact that they argued a lot, or that she was selfish. All she knew was that she was ready to bring her son home, her son that she hadn't even gotten to hold yet, and start her life with Micah and Charlie.
In fact, Jasey was fluttering around the kitchen making last minute preparations on her and RJ's dinner. She had asked Micah to stay out of the apartment for a few hours, explaining that she wanted to talk to RJ alone about them moving, and her fate with Enamour. She wasn't solidly convinced she was leaving Enamour yet, but it was definitely something that she was considering. With the events that had happened in the past few weeks, it almost seemed stupid not to leave. Dishing out the chicken breasts onto the plates, along with the stuffing, green beans and rolls, she walked both plates over to the table, sitting them down before walking over to RJ's door and knocking softly. She was sure that he'd yell at her when he saw that she'd been up off the couch cooking all this time, but she didn't care. "Hey RJ, I made dinner. Can you come out and eat, there's a few things I'd like to talk to you about."
