HI I'M KELLAN AND THIS IS ME:
Kellan is a very joyful man, loves the people around him and having fun. He really doesn't care making a fool of himself, he even laughs at it most of the time. Out of the many people he cherishes, there is one that stands out, and that is Shayley, the basist of their band and his long time friend. They have known each other for eleven years, on the beginning of Kellan's senior year. Would anyone dare to hurt Shay and it will get very ugly. And I mean VERY. He discovered his homosexuality at 15 and is so not ashamed of it.
But like everyone, Kellan has a dark side that he tries to keep from as many people as he can including the fan base of Hiatus!. He has an alcohol problem and has had it for five years now. The only people who know are the band members, though only Shay knows how long it has been. Kells goes through a 33.8 Oz bottle of Jack Daniel's to himself in the matter of 60 hours very easily, in the best of his times. So you can imagine the aggravation when he's not feeling well. And it has went down since him and the others have been signed, because it was in 48 hours or less...
It started when his last boyfriend dumped him, saying he was wasting his time with him, that he was a worthless piece of shit, an asshole and a manipulative bastard. All things that, of course, aren't true at all. Kellan is most probably the kindest person ever, with almost no hint of bad in him....except when he drinks and is grumpy. It hit Kells so hard; that night, he drank a 33.8 Oz of Jack Daniel's and half of Rhum all by himself in the basement of his parents house, crying in a ball of pain and breaking stuff. He doesn't care about it anymore, but it has become a habit of his to drink every night.
He has many times thought of going to rehab for it, but he just can't find enough motivation to do the first step by himself. He is quite stubborn and would simply need a kick in the ass of someone who he cares about enough to listen to.
