Austin loved him. He really did. It’s just that Daren had been really bad to him. Daren broke Austin’s heart by falling for Justin. They never had even broken up either. So that makes Daren a cheater right? That question was answered by a blow to the temple. Daren fell back, onto the ground, his head smacking against the hard linoleum floor. He knew this relationship was wrong. That he should have never tried to make things right with Austin. He had hurt Austin so bad. But Austin had hurt him again and again. Daren’s eyes fluttered, landing on Austin’s face. Austin was crying over him, slapping him in the face hard. Daren couldn’t feel that. He was numb.
Daren had left Justin’s arms to go talk to Austin. He still loved Austin. Not in the way he loved Justin, but in a way where he felt the need to go back. He wasn’t good enough for Justin after all. Daren hadn’t planned on staying. He just wanted to say good bye. Deep down Daren had hoped that Austin would forgive him, and apologize for laying a hand on him. But no. Here he was, on the ground. Austin pulled Daren into his arms and hugged him tightly. “I’m sorry Daren. Please come back to me.” Austin sobbed. “I f-forgive you.”
